President - Patsy Garner
Patsy is proud to say she has been an Optimist since 1989. She spent her professional career working for a National Trucking company and administrative assistant for an accounting firm. She is now retired and along with Husband, Ken, enjoys time with her family and on the golf course . She is the mother of 2, Mamaw of 8, has 2 great granddaughters. Patsy served Optimist International as President during the 2021-2022 optimist year.
Past President/Secretary - Debbie Koennecke
Debbie has been a member since 1992. She and her husband, Mike, have 3 grown children. She is President of Pinnacle Bank and enjoys spending time with her friends at the optimist club and the ability to serve the youth of the community.
Treasurer - Tim Bicknell
Tim has been an optimist since 1987 and enjoys the friendships he has made through the optimist club. Tim has served as President, Vice President and now Treasurer. He and his wife Janelle enjoy spending time with their three grandchildren. Tim is a Partner at Spillar, Mitcham, Eaton & Bicknell LLP.
Vice President - Ken Garner
Ken has been an optimist since 1994 and enjoys the friendships he has made through the optimist club. Ken has served as President, Vice President and Treasurer. Ken served Optimist International as President during the 2014-2015 optimist year. Ken's career as an accountant has led him to partnership at Burgher Tax Services.
Vice President - Stewart McKenzie
Stewart has been an optimist since 2015 and enjoys the friendships he has made through the optimist club. Stewart has served as President, Vice President . He and his wife Kym enjoy spending time with their church family & traveling the globe.
