Thank you for looking into how our Optimist Club helps the children of this community. Our Optimist Club was created by a group of thoughtful, hardworking men and women. Throughout the years these men and women, and their successors - have met regularly to support and assist the youth of our community through a wide range of donations and charitable work.
The motto of the Breakfast Optimist club of East Fort Worth is “We Grow Leaders.”
Vision statement: Breakfast Optimist club of East Fort Worth will be recognized in Fort Worth as the premier volunteer organization that values all children and helps them develop to their full potential.

Shown below are just a few examples of our work...
1) Manages a robust American Flag program, where for $50 ($45 for veterans) east Fort Worth subscribers have an American Flag posted in their yards to celebrate five flag holidays each year
2) Active in supporting Eastside Ministries, Ronald McDonald House, oratorical and essay contests for eastside students, scholarships for graduating seniors, recognition events for elementary school student leaders, school holiday choir performances, and many other worthwhile community building endeavors
3) Sponsors and supports a yearly Thanksgiving & Christmas program for children less fortunate.
4) Providing yard signs to all graduating seniors at Eastern Hills High School.
5) Honoring officers through an annual Respect for Law program.
6) The Club sponsors Junior Optimist International (JOI) clubs in several eastside schools.
7) We have quarterly social events, where potential future members are invited to learn more about our club.
These are just a few of the many activities we have in our club to support the youth in the area.
